COVID-19 Information for Millennium Surgical
Hello to our Patients and referring Doctors,
This is Dr. Bart Nierzwicki, reaching out on behalf of all of our team members at Millennium Surgical - Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. We hope all of you are well, and we have no doubt that we will get through this together.
Below is an update on how our practice is adapting to the daily-changing developments with the spread of COVID-19.
At this time we remain OPEN FOR BUSINESS during the coming week. Below is our action plan:
If you plan to keep your appointment, we look forward to seeing you!
How to prepare and what to expect. For the safety of our community, if you are ill, we would ask that you reschedule your appointment. This would include anyone with a fever, cough, trouble breathing, or other symptoms of a possible infection, or if you have traveled to any area with a high incidence of coronavirus. Please use your best judgment, and we promise our staff members are doing the same.
Call Us or Email Us
For patients with time-sensitive or pressing needs who cannot make it in, we will be able to accommodate a limited number of virtual office visits via telemedicine, to be decided on a case-by-case basis. If this is of interest to you, please contact us at [email protected]. However, in general, oral and dental concerns are usually best diagnosed when evaluated in person, so ideally, we’d prefer for you to keep your appointments if you are well and able.
If possible, we would kindly ask that you limit the number of people joining you for your visit.
When you arrive at our facility, please call us from your vehicle to reduce unnecessary contact with others at the front desk and waiting room. We will simply request your phone number and call you when our staff is ready to take you back.
Please know that all patients AND staff will be asked to practice meticulous hand hygiene throughout the encounter. Also, we trust no one will take offense at our decision to avoid hand-shakes and temporarily suspend offering shared beverages.
Please know that we are working overtime to MAKE SURE that our office is clean and safe for our staff and our patients.
The health and safety of our staff and patients is of the utmost importance to us as a practice. We have always strictly adhered to the guidelines set forth by OSHA and the Public Health Authority, and at this time, we are going far beyond this by adopting additional measures from the CDC and WHO to bolster our cleaning and hygiene protocols. This includes deep cleaning and disinfection of all rooms, work stations, door knobs, bathrooms, and common areas, to be repeated each morning, mid-day, and end of work day, as well as between patient visits. Furthermore, please note that our exam rooms are equipped with a state-of-the-art return air ventilation system and air filters throughout. We are collectively committed and have strict protocols in place to ensure that we are doing everything within our power to responsibly control infection risk.
