About Stem Cell Recovery
At Millennium Surgical, we offer stem cell recovery services for children and adults. Our board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Bartlomiej Nierzwicki, believes in the power of stem cell recovery, and wants to offer this service to all of his patients. The National Institutes of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services want to improve quality of life with recovered stem cells. When a patient has a tooth or teeth extracted, the stem cells inside each tooth can be preserved for future use, if needed.
Stem cells can be used to regenerate tissue, muscles, neurons, bone, organs, beta cells for insulin production, skin cells, cartilage, and more through this advancement of science and medicine. What an amazing option to have in saving your own life without needing a donor, and with no chance of organ or tissue rejection. So many people have had transplants where their body would not accept the tissue and had to be put on immunosuppressant drugs for the rest of their life. With stem cell regeneration, that is a step you won’t have to go through. If you would like to know more about how to preserve your stem cells, call our office today.
"Great surgeon and the staff amazing, made me feel very comfortable and answer all my questions, I'll definitely recommend family and friends"- J.M. / Facebook / Sep 17, 2017
"The staff is extremely respectful and knowledgeable. Both the doctor and assistants provided me with information that was easy to understand regarding the procedure. I can not express just how satisfied I am with my experience."- A.R. / Facebook / Sep 12, 2017
"I came to Millenium Surgical to get my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Nierzwicki was great and made me feel very comfortable being put to sleep with anesthesia. Not only did that, but he took the time to explain all my options and then the entire procedure and answer ALL of my questions before hand. After the procedure, Dr. Nierzwicki called to check up and see how I was feeling. I felt so at ease from start to finish during the entire processes. The entire staff was very kind and helpful, from Kenya to Maggie. Highly recommend!!"- S.S. / Facebook / Sep 07, 2017
"I was referred by a friend to Dr. Cienawa who then referred me to Dr. Bart - the same day - to have my two bottom wisdom teeth removed. As I have never had even a stitch before in my life, I was nervous about being put to sleep, etc. (especially after the horror stories everyone tell you about getting their wisdom teeth removed!). Dr. Bart led the consultation along with Kenia and went over other options where I could stay awake. Honestly, I think that took more time than the... actual extraction itself! The consultation was thorough and helpful, so when I made the decision it was all green lights. I was truly taken care of - and last minute, which I so appreciate, and was able to not be put to sleep, and still be pain free. I appreciate also the woman who walked me through the billing process and (this is on my insurance more than the practice) while it was a hefty upfront cost, I am pleased with the decision I made (they even gave me a shirt!) because I was able to still enjoy my Labor Day weekend up in Michigan! I would highly recommend this place due to the professional demeanor of the office, the staff, and the doctor. Thank you!"- J.W. / Facebook / Sep 05, 2017

Reasons for Stem Cell Recovery
We can use stem cells to create living tissue to replace or repair damaged tissue and organs. As we age, encounter different illnesses and disease, or have birth defects, stem cells can regenerate what is needed to fix the problem. You could actually heal yourself with your own stem cells by allowing scientists to grow what is needed. This is not a distant technology in a movie -- scientists are re-growing organs and tissues today with preserved stem cells to save and better people's lives.
How It Works
To start saving your stem cells, you must first register at www.StemSave.com, and they will send your dentist or surgeon a special transportation kit before your tooth extraction procedure. Our staff will seal the tooth or teeth into the kit, and send it to the StemSave laboratory. The teeth will then be tested and processed to make sure the stem cells are usable. Once they are verified as viable stem cells, the lab will preserve them with cryopreservation so they can be used in the future when needed.
The younger the stem cells are in the tooth, the better chance they have for viable stem cell use. Why? Stem cells age just as we do, and they are purest when we are younger. Stem cells in baby teeth are the best, but wisdom teeth from teens and young adults can be just as vital to future regenerative medical therapies. If it is possible, whenever a tooth is extracted, you should have the stem cells preserved.

Save Your Stem Cells
Saving your own or your child’s stem cells can improve quality of life in the future by curing illness, injuries, and disease with your own regenerated tissue. Instead of relying on organ donors, synthetic materials, or prosthetics, you can potentially cure yourself with this one preserved element.
